conj.(连词)

though引导让步状语从句时表示一种假设的情况或含有推测的意味,从句的谓语动词可用陈述式,也可用虚拟式; 有时为了强调让步的意义,可采用倒装语序。

在用though连接的从句中,谓语是be,而从句的主语与主句的主语相同时,从句的主语与be可同时省略。

区别although和though:though可以做副词，指“但是”，但是although不行。as though属固定搭配，这里though不能替换成although。although要比though来得更正式，相对而言，语气比较重，但是though的使用更普遍。although引导的从句，常指实际发生的事情，而不是假象，设想。though和although都可在从句中用作连词，通常表示相同的意思，但though更普遍适应于非正式的表述中；

句中的though不能替换成although。
